Sr. Business Analyst

Research and review the projects' scope in order to understand why the project has been initiated. Demonstrate a high level of working knowledge with IS Methodologies and processes (Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle, and IS Change Management process). Gather detailed requirements that completely define the project. Create high-level models and user prototype interfaces to identify and validate business processes and solutions when appropriate. Communicate requirements with minimal direction and guidance. Act as the liaison between the business experts and the project team members. Facilitate business / functional requirement review; approval; and sign-off sessions.

Prepare and deliver effective presentations to upper management. Identify solutions to the development and technical team based on approved business and functional requirements. Participate in technical requirements and design sessions. Conduct and direct end-user testing responsibilities and tasks with minimal guidance from a consultant staff, Manager or Project Managers. Interface with members of the Installation Team; technology and user support groups; vendors; and vendor management under the direction of the consultant staff and/or Manager. Administer communication activities with end-user training for system implementation. Act as coach, mentor, and advisor to less experienced Business Analysts. Assist with training and orientation of less experienced Business Analysts and project team members. Drive the projects from Discovery / Initiation Phases to the Implementation Phase independently. As a BA / Test Engineer, the selected candidate must be able to create test strategy, test plans, and test cases and execute system testing; working with the business to perform UAT. Develop and execute test plans and test new or modified software for reliability and accuracy. The selected candidate must be local or willing to locate at his/her own expense.

• Must be able to act as Project Manager and run projects in case a separate Project Manager is not assigned

• A BS / BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering related fields, or other Life Science Degree with supplemental technical credentials


• 
  


• Experience working in Life Sciences and Hospital / Healthcare Industries


• 
  


• In-depth understanding of computerized systems used in Life Sciences and Hospital / Healthcare Industries and intended use


• 
  


• Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory requirements (Part 11) and guidance regarding controls over Electronic Record and Electronic Signatures


• 
  


• Demonstrated understanding of systems validation regulatory requirements (GxP); regulatory guidance; industry standards (CLIA and ISO) and other relevant industry best practices (GAMP)
