Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary

This is a Las Vegas based position at our corporate headquarters whose primary responsibility is to provide operational and product support for the assigned business units. This position will strive to maximize the efficiency of our company through the application of technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain understanding of system capabilities and their application to the specific needs of our business

  • Remain current with system enhancements and new products and how they apply to our business

  • Recommend changes to products and processes to improve the manner in which we conduct business

  • Work closely with customers to achieve maximum utilization of systems

  • Manage system projects (e.g. system upgrades, changes and enhancements)

  • Prepare and maintain training schedules

  • Prepare and maintain issues lists

  • Prepare and maintain escalation process

  • Analyze project needs and locate/assign resources (including self)

  • Coordinate team resources on-site as well as in office

  • Provide customer service at varying levels as required

  • Work with customers to resolve issues

  • Develop and administer application training programs

  • Travel required

  • Based in Las Vegas

  • Requires non-typical work hours


Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Understand and comply with all appropriate regulations.

  • Adheres to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy, complies with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements.

  • Understands and utilizes all appropriate tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, etc.

  • Extensive experience working with Aristocrat Oasis 360

Required Education and Work Experience

  • Minimum 8 years experience in Information Technology and/or the Gaming Industry.

  • Ability to assume responsibility for independent/self-directed action.

  • Preferred experience with specific applications that would be supported by this position.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
