Sr. Manager, Marketing


Atlanta, GA


The Sr. Manager Marketing is responsible for product marketing and demand generation for Verizon Telematics products and services. The position creates, executes and measures effective demand generation initiatives that drive sales and promote brand strategy. We're looking for a strong marketer who brings experience developing and driving successful strategies and who can succeed in a rapidly growing environment.


Develop and manage product launch and go-to-market plans for consumer and business channels. Lead launch implementation with internal marketing, sales, and operations, and external partners. Measure results and key learnings for future implementations.


Determine integrated marketing strategies and calendars. Manage internal and external resources to deliver campaigns.


Plan, develop and oversee execution of all consumer marketing communications. Design, develop and produce communications by evaluating needs and designing strategies for target audiences. Continually review and optimize.


Lead media planning strategy and buying for offline campaigns for products and Services. Consult with external partners on media campaigns, and lead media impact analysis. Establish advertising/mass marketing measurement goals aligned with business and brand priorities.


Propose, design, and create strategies to build awareness and create demand. Implement and measure marketing programs and campaigns.


Identify opportunities that support business, brand and customer goals.


Design and execute tests that support key hypotheses and deliver actionable learnings that contribute to business growth. Create testing priorities, test plan and testing roadmap. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of new initiatives; assess results and continuously refine the marketing plan.


Provide updates and reporting, and communicate clearly marketing strategy and results to team and management.


Drive effective partnerships with internal and external partners and teams to drive successful campaign execution.


Manage, coach and develop a team of Marketing Managers and Consultants to achieve product marketing, revenue generation and retention goals. Set direction, deploy resources and evaluate performance.


Manage budgets for marketing programs and understand accounting processes, forecast resources needed and allocate funds, monitor expenditures to budget targets and resolve discrepancies


Education B.A./B.S.


Experience 10 years Marketing experience with preference for subscriber services.




  • Related experience in advertising/media, direct marketing, product marketing, pricing/promotion and multi-channel marketing


  • Experience creating detailed multi-channel, go-to-market plans that drive demand at best possible ROI


  • Experience leading and developing direct reports as well as cross-functional teams to drive results ·



  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience developing business plans and analyzing program effectiveness and ROI
