Sr Marketing Analyst

Position Description:

Basic Function and Scope of the Position:

The Sr. Marketing Analyst is responsible for optimizing the marketing automation platform, demand reporting and analytics and database segmentation and quality. The Sr. Marketing Analyst is an expert in using marketing and CRM systems in support of marketing programs and demand generation. This position requires the integration, cleansing and analysis of data from a variety of sources including Salesforce.com and Marketo. The Sr. Marketing Analyst role requires the ability to build effective working relationships, excellent communication skills, creativity and critical thinking, strong planning and organizational skills, attention to detail and high work standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Optimize the use of the marketing automation platform (Marketo) and integration of data with the CRM system (Salesforce.com) to achieve business goals

• Recommend and evaluate new functionality. Provide program training to global users

• Develop technology roadmap for marketing system functionality required to support evolving business requirements

• Implement and analyze lead scoring models to support lead qualification and acceleration

• Review demand waterfall functionality and recommend changes to meet business needs

• Leverage data to optimize lead nurture campaign strategy for improved quality and quantity of marketing qualified lead.

• Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com to measure effectiveness of marketing campaign performance

• Recommend standards and develops documentation and compliance process to maintain lead database quality (Process for Importing leads, creating contacts)

• Manage database segmentation and reporting requirements for improved lead performance

• The Sr. Marketing Analyst works as a liaison with GIS in order to provide input and clarity on requests for changes to systems and policies

• The Sr. Marketing Analyst understands the systems in the context of Marketing requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Preferred Educational Background:

• B.A./B.S. degree in marketing/business preferred or equivalent years of work experience

Preferred Experiential Background:

• 5+ years of experience in a marketing or operations department required.

• 3+ years of systems management experience required.

• 2+ years experience working with and managing Marketing Automation (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce.com) system required.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong attention to quality and execution.
