The AT&T Mobile Broadband Network Services organization is looking for top talent who will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager position will drive the integration of product solutions with AT&T network services and implement them on the Mobility Smartphones and core network services. As product manager, you will gather product requirements, evaluate and influence design, manage vendor activities, drive interdivisional core teams and develop strategic relationships with CTO and IT resources. Candidate will represent the consumer, insuring zero impediments to buy / use experience. You will oversee the business needs including Client Sponsor deliverables within the One AT&T processes, implementation of legal and regulatory requirements, and inclusion of necessary analytics to validate Net Promoter Score. This Product Marketing position will be responsible for the delivery of products with zero defects within the Mobility device launch process and timelines.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with CTO and Device Marketing to deploy WISPr client on 100% of smartphones, including feature adjustments, OS / OEM customization, etc.

  • Primary liaison to CTO for all elements of the product lifecycle

  • Includes ideation, development decisions, business case input, testing and analysis, market launch decisions and on-going local support for product marketing

  • Supplement training efforts to ensure sales and care teams are fully knowledgeable and able to articulate AT&T's Wi-Fi products and services

  • Responsible for local CPE testing/trialing and recommendation for acceptance as well as go-to-market plans

  • Identifies, monitors and analyzes internal (e.g. financials, movement, revenue, cost, sales) and external (e.g., technology, market share, competitive) performance parameters in order to reposition, modify features and identify new uses for the product

Preferred location is Atlanta, GA; will also consider candidates who reside and will remain at AT&T offices in Austin, TX or Redmond, WA.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years management experience, including leadership in the Product Management / Marketing space

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; skilled in influencing and gaining the acceptance of others in sensitive situations

  • Demonstrated ability to handle and resolve complex situations in an effective manner

  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, and implement process improvements and departmental or organizational changes

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment

  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction

  • Excellent, proven decision-making ability particularly in situations with impacts to the overall team

  • Solid project management skills

  • Proven ability to successfully partner with other organizations including technology, go-to-market, and device teams

  • Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills

  • Strong strategic thinking skills

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other standard office computer applications

  • Bachelor of Science in a Business or Technical field of study

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in wireless services, data, and / or high tech industry- Wi-Fi experience a plus

  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise contingencies to manage them

  • MBA in Marketing or Business preferred
