CACI seeks a Senior Engineer/Senior Software Engineer to support a GCCS-M/J program in San Diego, CA. This is a contingent opportunity.


Candidate must possess Secret clearance and be willing to OCONUS locations (Hawaii, Japan, etc) between 10-15% of direct support to the program.


Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide integration and operational support to SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific's Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) programs and systems.

- Provide systems integration and engineering to technically plan for, implement, and gain acceptance of C4I components and networks integrated into Navy, Joint, national, and Foreign Military C4I systems.

- Provide product analyses/evaluations, integration designs, integration, test and evaluation plans, integrated products, implementation plans and management, and integration of C4I components at operational sites.

- Experience developing in Java, Perl, Python or PHP.

- Provide services and deliverables to support the development or implementation of C4I systems ashore and afloat.


Required Qualifications:

– Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics and 10 years of technical experience at the systems-level in DoD projects; or

– Extensive (15-plus years) experience in the software development of ashore and/or afloat C4I systems.

– Experience in all cases shall be heavily software oriented.

– Current experience in Unix (specifically, the SOLARIS Operating System (OS), C, C++, Windows, XWindows, JAVA/JAVAEE, and SQL-based systems).

– Experience with formal test training and knowledge of IEEE 12207 testing standards.

– Experience with Services oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services, including the following standards, protocols and styles used for Web services development: Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Universal Description Discovery and Integration (UDDI), and REpresentational State Transfer (REST).


Must meet DOD 8570.01M IAT/IAM Level II certification (CompTIA Securty+ CE)


The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.


Desired Qualifications:

Solaris OCSP certified; Experience developing in Java, Perl, Python or PHP.

DODD 8570.01M IAM Level II (CISSP)
