POSITION IS 6on/8off - 12 hour shifts. This is at a free-standing ER in Cypress opening Jan. 2014.
POSITION SUMMARY: The CT technologist will provide comprehensive, patient focused care through quality CT imaging. He/she will start IVs, dose oral and rectal contrast with compassion and empathy. The CT technologist is also required to transfer patients by wheelchair and stretcher to and from examinations adhering to safety regulations set forth by CyFair hospital and is considerate to the patients privacy and physical condition. He/she will practice active communication with team members and will recognize all costumers both internal and external with proper phone etiquette, two way communication and respect. The CT technologist must demonstrate good judgement in prioritizing exams based upon diagnosis and critical care factors. He/she must maintain the skill set to work independently of direct supervision and will put the patient first in all aspect of their care. The CT technologist will be an advocate of quality care, practicing and enforcing the 5 pillars of Tenet: Service, Quality, Cost, People, and Growth built upon the foundation of Ethic.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/certification/registration: Current Licensure with the ARRT and the Texas Dept of Health
Experience Required: A minimum of 1 year experience required.
