The Business Solutions Division of the ACTIVE Network provides Enterprise web based solutions that help corporate customers manage their corporate meetings and events, providing the world's leading online meeting management platform. Key customers include Cisco, Disney and Kraft Foods. As a result of business expansion ACTIVE Network has exciting opportunities as a Technical Sales Specialist

Job Description:

The Technical Sales Specialist delivers support to Sales and Account Management teams in the Business Solutions Group. The role supports the pre-sales process in the following capacities:

-Product introductory demonstrations for all Business Solutions products remotely and in person.

-Basic customer requirement discovery and documentation.

-Document customer requirements and action items for Enterprise Sales Representative.

-Assist Sales staff in completing Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

-Partner with Senior Technical Consultants to showcase ACTIVE network value proposition.


-Demonstrate excellent presentation skills (both via phone and in person).

-Ability to quickly learn new technology and products.

-Demonstrated ability to manage a dynamic, rapidly changing schedule.

-Must be able to work independently and communicate with a team.

-Have or be actively working towards a degree in Business, IT or related field.

-Demonstrated experience in using presentation software, standard office suite software and mobile devices.


-Familiarity with any ACTIVE Business Solutions products (Conference, Starcite or RegOnline).

-Experience with SaaS software sales, support or development.

-1-2 years of experience.
