Our client is seeking a strong Sr. Technical Writer in San Diego, California (CA) to develop Infusion technical documentation and facilitate the document approval process.

Job Description:

• 
  


• Work with various teams: engineering, marketing, regulatory, etc., to extract the information needed for the guides and plan, research, and write/update the documents


• 
  


• Analyze content to determine appropriate syntax, style and grammatical usage required for documents


• 
  


• Follow the documentation process and proactively facilitate the review and approval of completed documents


• 
  


• Contribute to the overall writing team


• 
  

Technical Writer Qualifications:

• 
  


• Seeking candidates with experience working within a CMS and writing content using DITA


• 
  


• Must have in-depth experience using Unstructured FrameMaker, v9


• 
  


• Must have fantastic people skills and be adept at managing shifting priorities


• 
  


• May sometimes need to work under tight deadlines; the ability to work effectively under pressure is essential


• 
  


• Must be familiar with creating, editing and incorporating hardware illustrations and screenshots into documentation


• 
  


• Applicants must possess excellent writing skills and demonstrate mastery of grammar, punctuation and spelling - Must be able to express ideas logically, clearly and concisely


• 
  


• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communications, Journalism, or equivalent work experience


• 
  


• Minimum of 5+ years of work experience is required
