Lionbrdge is looking for Test Engineer I whose primary role is to utilize their experience to provide the highest level of test support in their assigned areas. They will perform software testing and software/firmware upgrades.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setup and monitor units and tools in test, follow maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting procedures.
Write test scripts.
Assist repair and maintenance technicians with trouble shooting test/tooling, follow escalation instructions to identify problems
Owns primary responsibility for timely and accurate software/firmware tests upgrades.
Monitor output to confirm that problems are found and fixed.
Responsible for working with LB management in continuous improvement and documentation creation, change and maintenance.
Responsible for communication and escalation of changes and issues affecting test execution.
Support test execution objectives as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
4 years of software/firmware testing experience.
Requires advance computer skills.
Ability to write concise and comprehensible reports and correspondence to variety of audiences including customer, co-workers, senior management.
Willing to work any shift and travel on short notice as required.
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees and clients.
Ability to solve practical and technical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
The employee may be required on occasion to work a compressed work week, evenings, holidays, weekends or graveyard shifts.

BS in CS, engineering, or other technical discipline. Or equal experience
