Test-Software Sr. Engineer (L13-R-161)

Job Description



  • Provide Support for the Test Fixtures (off and on-site).

  • Provide Test Software for PCBA level test fixtures and System level test fixtures (CFTP).

  • Upgrade legacy test software or make improvement for test time, performance and function.

  • Collaborate with other manufacturing test engineers and/or R&D engineers to define the test software specification.

  • Participate in NPI activity and capture knowledge at technical aspect for quality check process or fixture design

  • Create software applications for process optimization whenever needed (Paperless Traveler…).

  • Apply business mindset for any software development activity in terms of cost, operation, lead-time, post-maintenance and documentation.




Experience Required


  • 7+ years of total work experience as a Systems level Engineer with expertise in troubleshooting at the component level including:


- 2+ years experience in Circuit PCB Test Engineering


- 3+ years of experience on Java programming, C/C++, C# and Visual Basic .NET


- 2+ years experience on Android environment


- 2+ years experience on LabView, TestStand, and XML/HTML programming


- 5+ years experience on Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, latest version (2008 ~ 2012) is a plus



  • Exposure to and understanding of manufacturing processes and systems

  • Hands-on experience on instrument development and/or system design

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill (verbal & writing) with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Exposure on GR&R, QC, and DoE / Six Sigma is a plus

  • Solid understanding on Algorithm, Object Oriented Programming, Sequential Logic

  • Intermediate to Advance skills on MS Windows environment

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Lean Six Sigma experience and/or certification a plus

  • Understanding of business demands with strong business acumen

  • Strong Customer (internal and external) focus


Education



  • Bachelor degree on Electrical & Computer (E&C) Engineering

  • Master degree is a strongly preferred
