Test Technician II

About the Job

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Includes, but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Inventory management of area test supplies.

* Facilitation of weekly prioritization meetings.

* Coordinate test scheduling.

* Test tool operation.

* Write test scripts

* Write status reports and escalate issues.

* Follow security, safety and testing procedures to ensure operational excellence.

* Update and report metrics.

* Ensure team is trained and certified.

* Update training records for area.

* Responsible for working with LB management and customers in continuous improvement and documentation creation, change and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel. Must possess technical understanding of printers.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


o2 years of testing experience.

oAbility to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to read and interpret documents such as process descriptions and procedure manuals.

oAbility to communicate effectively with managers, employees and clients both verbally and in writing.

oAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Willingness to dig deep to fully understand and resolve issues.

oAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

oAbility to communicate in a direct, specific and non-punishing manner.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

The employee may be required on occasion to work a compressed work week, evenings, or holidays.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for long time periods. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
