DescriptionSupport and assist the development of the Rehabilitation Program area(s) assigned and for the provision of Speech Therapy services. Rehabilitation Services at Desert Regional Medical Center include the provision of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to patients on acute units, the Skilled Nursing Facility and in the Outpatient Program. This program provides services to include wound care, orthopedic, and neuro-rehab. Access to all Patient Health Information for treatment purposes onlyRequired: Valid California Speech Pathology Licensure Excellent communication skills Documentation Skills for reimbursement, legal and patient care information. Valid certification by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Preferred: Experience in Barium Swallow Evaluations
