Job Description:
Adecco Employment Services is currently seeking Web Press Operator in Livermore, CA. 40 Hours, shift work. You must have 3 to 5 years
Web press experience and will be expected to operate a printing press to produce customer orders. This is a Temporary to Hire Opportunity!
Responsibilities include: Operating prinitng press to produce customer orders. Maintaining a record of all completed work. Report mechanical and other defects to immediate supervisor. Maintain appropriate productivity, spoilage, and service levels. Cross train in other areas or machines as needed. Perform all housekeeping duties and maintain a safe working environment. Perform other duties as required to meet customers and company quality and productivity needs Iinking up or washing up print units, installing or removing tooling, putting on or removing printing plates, changing paper, etc. Assist in skidding, packing and making up of cartons.
Job Experience:
Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of Web Press Heidleburg and Ditty-Glaziers. High School Diploma/GED. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to lift 45 pounds repeatedly. Ability to read a scale (ruler). Mechanical inclination a plus. Ability to comply with all safety rules and regulations.
