Key Roles and Responsibilities: Directs and supervises a team overlay/sales specialist sellers responsible for selling complex technical products/services/applications/solutions, generating sales and supporting the sales efforts of direct sellers by leveraging product, industry, and/or technology expertise. Manages and Directs the sales and technical teams in support of the sale of products, services and solutions. Possesses broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills. Resolves issues and contributes to business units success. Demonstrates extensive technical product knowledge in order to assist team with developing and presenting sales proposals and systems solutions delivered at the customers premise. Manages the work efforts of individual contributor direct reports. Influences decisions regarding hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Responsible for coaching and developing direct report subordinates.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in public safety industry . Reports to Application Sales Director. Relative technical background and working knowledge of Public Safety Products, and CPE processes and Systems within AT&T. Good presentation skills a must. Ability to multi-task on many projects and manage vendor relations are critical. Experience with governmental sales required.
Experience: Typically requires eight to ten years of direct work experience and one year of leadership experience. Supervisory: Yes.
