Our client, a leading global Financial Services / Corporate Banking firm, is seeking an Associate to join their global Trade Finance / Commodity Finance team based in NYC.

Position Responsibilities:
- Manage key aspects of client transactions in the structured trade and commodity finance product group, with exposure to client’s in a variety of different industries and a variety of financial and trade products
- Prepare credit applications to support business development initiatives
- Conduct business, industry, and capital markets research
- Liaise with relationship managers and operations groups
- Ensure marketing materials are accurate and complete
- Participate in client meetings
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- MBA preferred, but not required
- 4+ years related corporate banking credit analysis experience
- Knowledge of structured trade finance and commodity finance products strongly preferred
- Strong financial analysis skills and high proficiency with MS Excel
- Proven ability to perform financial spreads and analysis
- Strong client-facing presentation skills and the ability to interact with domestic and international clients
- Strong team player with a high degree of integrity and a solid work ethic
- Multilingual language skills a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, etc.)
Base salary to $85K + bonus
