Cook III

University Retirement, The premier upscale senior living community in Davis, is now accepting applications from Experienced Chefs, Sous Chefsand Lead Cooks for our Cook III position. You will have at least 3 years experience in a full service, fine dining restaurant, retirement community or hotel. Professional culinary training and demonstrated leadership will be considered during our selection process.


Our position requires extensive knowledge in food preparation, proper food handling and sanitation; current ServSafe or California Food Handler's Certificate is a plus


You should also be knowledgeable about seasonal and specialty ingredients, with a proven work history. You need to be presentable, well spoken, and truly understand hospitality and customer service.


This position will have various schedules ranging from weekdays to weekends, mornings and/or evenings and holidays. You will be preparing meals for our dining rooms, special events, catering functions and our Bistro.
