Enterprise Architect

An established global internet based Data Management Financial Services firm is building their US development teams here in their NY office. They are looking for a Enterprise Architect to establish the technical foundation and architecture for their next generation of data acquisition, data transformation, data mining, custom analytics, and reporting solutions. You will work with management and software development teams to implement our vision and standards in a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of industry experience developing object-oriented applications

Ability to set architectural direction and ensure compliance to standards

Expertise in designing and implementing relational databases

Experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments

API (e.g. REST, SOAP) design and development experience

Excellent analytical skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

In-depth knowledge of .NET and Windows Server operating systems

Deep understanding of programming principles and an interest in software development

Design and development experience with service-oriented architectures and enterprise-class web applications

Ability to work with on and offshore development teams

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline

Desirable:

Financial services industry experience

Experience with NoSQL and Big Data technologies

Experience with AWS products and solutions

Proficiency implementing data mining and business intelligence solutions

Interest and experience tracking and applying open source technologies

Knowledge of XML, JSON, HTML

Web user interface development experience

Knowledge of financial markets and financial data
