We are currently seeking a talented GRC Analyst for an excellent opportunity with a well-established and extremely reputable financial client in New York, NY.


Job description:


Working in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Controls) under Information Risk Management. Primarily working in governance group. Risk Tracking, risk analysis, mapping, rules to different areas in IRM. Need quick understanding in proprietary systems. Needs background in technology and information risk specifically related to compliance risk. Organizational skills. Working with senior managers and SME's and ability to catch on quickly and be able to prioritize. Looking for an individual who is willing to ask questions and look at ideas from a fresh perspective. Need strong culture of ethics and risk management. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint will be reviewing spreadsheets and putting together presentations for senior management. Metrics experience with Archer platform would be helpful. Tracking issues, meeting with stakeholders, taking information, identifying gaps. Working on a variety of projects (at least 3: technical risk, risk mapping, and process risk) and working with different stakeholders to understand what needs to happen within each project.


This position requires strong business relationship management, remediation governance, risk tracking, risk partner relationship management and business-focused risk remediation. The qualified individual will be responsible for:


- Providing support for day-to-day GRC Program components such as Technology Roadmap, IRC Mapping Auditing, Risk Intelligence, issue tracking, project team meeting facilitation (with various groups) and preparing/delivering status reports;


- Planning and executing business-aligned governance as part of the Governance, Risk and Controls program within Information Risk Management (IRM);


- Providing direction and control regarding work performed in the framework of GRC, including monitoring the critical path and implementation of appropriate corrective actions;


- Ensuring adherence to current project management standard processes and compliance to corporate policies;


- Providing overall project communication to stakeholders and program management aligned with stakeholder expectations;


My client is searching for an individual who will function as a Business Analyst. Qualified candidate should have a minimum of 8 years’ experience within a financial services firm. The B/A has the primary responsibility to gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders. The Business Analyst serves as the principal conduit for managing system requirements between the business and the software development team throughout the duration of a project. The primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst include: Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts; Define and document requirements; Analyze and prioritize requirements; Write functional specifications; Model the requirements/specifications; Perform business process design in conjunction with operations teams; Lead requirements validation and traceability analysis; Manage scope and requirements throughout the project lifecycle; Lead development of common standards and tools; Assists in operational rollout and support. The preferred candidate should possess the following: Excellent oral and written communication skill; a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources; Ability to take strategic direction from executive management; Initiative; Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.
