CompuCom is looking for a contract Help Desk Support Tech with the following skill set:
This position provides junior level operational support for the messaging environment day-to-day repetitive tasks. The position requires experience with, or a good understanding of, Windows Client and Server technologies such as Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, and native Windows administrative tools. An intermediate knowledge of these areas (i.e. Outlook 2010, Exchange 2007 / 2010 / 2013, OCS 2007 R2, Lync, PowerShell, and account / group creation and permission assignments) is a plus.
Duties to include:
* Incident Management: Respond to client requests and incidents for the messaging / administrative infrastructure and resolve.
* Documentation: Create, update, and/or maintain documentation related to the messaging / administrative environment including processes and procedures for tasks assigned.
* Maintenance: Perform routine review of messaging services and provide proactive steps and / or recommendations pertaining to.
Required qualifications:
* 0 - 3 years of experience in IT working with messaging and administrative related technologies
* Experience supporting large enterprises: 500+ users a plus
* Experience supporting Outlook 2010, Exchange 2007 / 2010 / 2013, OCS 2007 R2, Lync, PowerShell, and account / group creation and permission assignments
* Ability to follow written instructions and/or Team provided direction
* Must have a clean driving record-required to drive between buildings and support remote sites
