Under limited supervision, the HSE Technical Professional is responsible for assisting with the implementation of Product Service Line (PSL) HSE strategies, policies, procedures and processes. Position will be assigned to a team supporting two manufacturing PSL’s in North Houston.


•Assists with the implementation and oversight of the integrated management system (HMS) that at a minimum, meets the needs of the company and OSHA requirements.

•Serves as the technical or procedural advisor to other functional and operational counterparts.

•Interfaces with functional personnel at several levels providing leadership and coaching to facilitate continuous HSE performance improvement.

•Assists in the development of procedures, and implements processes which have been established to ensure compliance with applicable standards, requirements, processes and identified best practices.

•Participates in diverse activities such as plan development and implementation, project management, hazard identification and risk management, incident investigation and causal analysis, report review, and performance assessments.

•Interfaces with operations personnel, contractors, and regulatory agencies, researching and interpreting standards, codes and regulations and providing reports as required.

•Can evaluate data and explain trends including presenting plans to improve performance.

•Must be able to maintain and update site specific compliance programs and conduct audits against the requirements.


Education and Experience:


•Bachelor’s Degree in HSE related field, Science, Engineering required and minimum four years relevant HSE professional experience

•Professional certification preferred

•Experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred

•Medium to advanced proficiency working in Microsoft Excel and HSE databases required

•Analytical thinker who can draw sound business conclusions from multiple sources of information

•Strong communicator and collaborative team player who can work across functions in a large organization

•Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
