Are you an innovative Human Resource leader with progressive experience within the manufacturing industry?


Our client, a global supplier within the automotive industry, is seeking a Human Resource Director to support three manufacturing locations while being an integral part of the senior leadership team. This position involves oversight of the HR team, talent management, training and development, employee relations, staffing. planning, reporting, and compensation/benefits.


Job Description:



  • Responsible to lead and assist in delivery of communications to employees and community.

  • Responsible to lead and deliver, through recruitment and training, the development of a superior workforce to achieve high performance teams.

  • Responsible to lead the development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes safety, quality, continuous improvement, and employee involvement all towards a goal of high performance and execution oriented workforce.

  • Responsible to deliver the Organizational Review Process (prepare individuals and the organization for succession).

  • Responsible to lead and deliver performance management improvement systems.

  • Responsible for leading development and training, with the goal of increasing the added value to an Associate's ability to their current function and additionally building on a foundation for their further career advancement.

  • Responsible for leading and controlling compensation and benefits.

  • Responsible for leading and growing a culture of corporate social responsibility through the promotion and management of charitable giving support and employee involvement.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field is required. A Master's Degree in Business Administration or other related advanced post-graduate degree is preferred.

  • Ten or more years of progressively responsible HR experience with exposure to both tactical and strategic human resources activities.

  • At least five years in a direct supervisory capacity.

  • Strong working knowledge of Federal and State laws in the areas of employment, human resources, wage and benefits, safety and health.

  • Must have the leadership and interpersonal skills necessary to resolve conflicts and to relate to employees at all levels within the organization.
