Insurance Broker

About Us

Farmers Insurance, established in 1928 and California's largest insurer. We are actively recruiting individuals interested in business ownership. Based upon the experience and financial stability of each candidate, our Agency Program is designed to offer multiple entry points into business ownership. Industry experience helpful, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate policy requirements are completed

• Establish client insurance coverage

• Identify and solicit potential clients

• Monitor insurance claims

• Provide information on insurance packages and policy features

• Respond to clients' enquiries

• Sell insurance to clients


Education

• Completion of insurance industry courses

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)


Qualifications

• State Insurance license(s)


Skills

• Basic computer skills

• Customer-oriented

• Excellent communication skills

• Good negotiation skills

• Knowledgeable about the services

• Self motivated

• Works well in a team

• Works well independently
