Junior Software Developer
As a Junior Software Developer you will assist in building data acquisition, data mining, custom analytics and reporting processes. You will work with and develop a large variety of .NET/Perl systems in an enterprise environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
A Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science
0-2 years work experience
Interest and experience of writing code and good understanding of programming principles
Working knowledge of MS Windows and Object-Oriented programming languages
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Work independently, results driven & detail oriented
Flexible and efficient at multitasking assignments
Desirable:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Creative willing to think outside of the box
Enjoy working in a supportive team environment
Experience in Perl, C++, or .NET programming
Knowledge of SQL, XML, HTML
MS Excel and MS Office
Knowledge of financial markets and financial data
Ideally, you will have worked on a large-scale project, either in an academic context or on your own. You should also feel comfortable working on multiple projects and with setting priorities.
