To learn how to use video production equipment including cameras, editing software, switchers and more
To learn how to create promotional videos to be used on website and video board
To learn how to create graphics for advertisers to be used on video board, concourse video displays and web site
To learn how to manage the website, including daily updates and page design
To learn how to create and design graphics and layouts for print materials (i.e. gameday program, brochures, fliers, etc.)
To learn how to edit game highlights to be uploaded for use on television - specifically local news broadcasts
To learn how to produce weekly player profile interviews to be used on website, video board and program
Learn and understand the gameday organization involved in the success of a Whitecaps event by learning how other departments get the stadium game-ready.
Gain an understanding of the seasonal nature of minor league baseball through learning opportunities with other departments as they prepare the facility for the season and during the post-season shut down.
Qualifications: We are looking for someone with excellent computer and video production skills, excellent interpersonal skills, a good attitude and willingness to learn. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Final Cut Pro preferred.
