The ability of the Public Health Manager to achieve this goal will be driven by the following key success factors:
-Utilize product core arguments, strategies and tactics to develop and document specific business plans to drive increases in immunization rates and programs and to manage the execution of those plans to drive the achievement of the financial goals
-Work with the SDRS, DSMs and Core teams in a leadership role providing analytical insight to ensure that market trends, challenges and opportunities are recognized and communicated effectively enabling sanofi pasteur to respond to those trends quickly. This includes timely feedback to the Product Marketing Teams.
Key accountabilities define how the Public Health Manager role will achieve the stated goal of the role:
1.Drive performance to achieve goals, and proactively provide market insights and trends in the development and execution of plans including opportunities to assist the policy team by working with agreed upon contacts and communicating effectively.
2.Identify the key individuals within each assigned state and ensure effective relationship management and coordination of internal resources to put programs in place to increase immunization rates. Support VS efforts in Health Departments by driving sanofi pasteur product messages by communicating the product core arguments to physicians and other key staff when appropriate.
3.Continuously support customer relationships to further sanofi pasteur interests through influence at agreed upon customer targets.
4.Provide leadership, vision and mentorship to the Core Teams and represent the interest of the home office vis--vis the region/territory, and the interest of the region/territory vis--vis the home office.
It is the responsibility of the Public Health Manager to accurately communicate in a positive, constructive manner the Public Health strategy, vision, tactics, objectives, programs and initiatives of sanofi pasteur.
This includes capturing the spirit and intent of initiatives and communicating as an owner of these initiatives.

Requirements:
REquired:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of successful pharmaceutical or medical device sales
- Strong demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Strong demonstrated business planning and analytical skills
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry in the area of marketing, account management, national accounts, public health, product management, etc.
Preferred:
- MBA, MPH or advanced degree
- 4+ of successful pharmaceutical or medical device sales management
