Responsibilities and Duties: Deliver creative event solutions, negotiate benefits, coordinate all details associated with MACO specific programs Consult with Market/Dealer Groups to develop/promote local programs Liaise with media agency partners to leverage valued-added opportunities Provide on-site management and implementation for local programs Develop and distribute monthly status reports Provide on-going analysis of local events Deliver strategic analysis/point-of-view on new opportunities Create cross promotional opportunities within key markets Monitor and report competitive activity in the markets Supervise temporary employees or event staff On-going recruitment for client center involvement Travel and work on weekends, holidays and during non-traditional hours Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field Minimum of 3 years’ agency/client service experience 2+ years’ developing and planning of events as well as event operations and logistics experience Basic understanding of advertising and new media Experience in Field Marketing a plus Knowledge of Automotive Industry a plus Proven success in building positive client relationships Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. A writing assignment may be part of the hiring process Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access) Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at one time A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and willingness to drive from LA to SF approximately twice a month Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends
