Staff Accountant

We are in need of a Staff Accountant for one of our clients in Palo Alto, CA. This is a direct hire opportunity. We are looking for candidates that have graduated from a top ranking university with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. This is a permanent opportunity to be hired directly with the organization.

Requirements:

- Process high volume, full-cycle, Accounts Payable

- Resolve AP discrepancies

- Responsible for AP accrual account

- 1099 filing

- Perform other accounting / office related duties as assigned

Working hours: M-F 8-5

Qualifications:

--Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required from a top ranking University

--1+ years of previous experience in A/P experience

--Proficient with MS Excel

--Analytical in nature in order to understand the nature of an invoice for proper coding, spot errors, and inconsistencies

--Ability to handle high paced environment

--Extremely detail oriented

--Flexible to work 10+ hours of weekly overtime

--Must be eligible to work in the United States

--Must be 18 years or older

Salary/Benefits:

--Permanent Opportunity

--Monday- Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

--Minimum of 10+ hours of weekly overtime

--$55,000+ (hourly position)
