The Regional Field Service Director will be responsible to set direction within East based region to lead a US Regional Service Management team in the development and deployment of regional delivery strategies that establish new business opportunities that improve service delivery within district and territory assignments.
The Regional Field Service Director is responsible for remote leadership of one of two US regions inclusive of U.S. regional service managers and technical service personnel located within the U.S. This individual leads Regional Service Managers to build team focused on service delivery and customer support to drive business growth. Also leads and develops Technical Service management leaders.
The Regional Field Service Director provides leadership, direction, and continuity in the areas of field service operations, staffing optimization, and forecast data.
This individual recommends and implements strategic initiatives in the areas of Technical Service and Business Analytics that have a direct positive effect on service goals and objectives.
The Regional Field Service Director is responsible for achievement of goals/forecasts through the implementation of service strategies within the budget.
This individual is responsible for meeting selection, development, performance evaluation and diversity objectives for personnel within the service region.
The Regional Field Service Director represents divisional service organization on pricing committee and partner with Commercial Operations group to support HCC requirements and territory alignment. This individual works in conjunction with the Quality Organization to create, update, and implement sustainable processes regarding the tracking, documentation and reporting of all technical service interfaces to ensure compliance with regulatory and ASP quality standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of a BA/BS with 10 years experience in business is required.
Minimum of 3+ years successful management of direct reports with track record of talent acquisition, development and performance management is required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a regulated industry required.
Three or more years direct experience in a project-planning and implementing environment with heavy emphasis in written and oral communication skills required.
Five or more years experience in a business planning and managing high impact high delivery service environment required.
Experience working with a field based organizations with skills needed to manage and motivate field personnel from a far required.
Time management skills, with ability to effectively prioritize activities and flexibility to change course as necessary to react to changing business/market conditions or business goals required.
Demonstrable skill at guiding/coaching/motivating direct reports to achieve objectives required.
Must be very self-motivated to achievement of own job goals and insure that own goals and goals of direct reports directly represent business objective required.
Master’s Degree preferred in
- Business
- Computer Science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Comparable Military training experience
- Computer software/hardware related certifications
2+ years leading management staff level preferred. Leading/managing remote based staff preferred.
This position is based either in Atlanta, GA, New Brunswick, NJ, Cincinnati, OH, or Raleigh/Durham NC and requires 60% to Corporate Office (Irvine, CA) along with 40% US travel including medical facilities.
