Position Description:This position is specific to the specialty of Medicare. The candidate must have worked Medicare for the past year for consideration.This function is responsible for insurance premium collections. Positions in this function contact customers to determine reason for payment delinquency. Negotiate and advise on collection of overdue bills and take appropriate action to recover overdue payments. Handles unresolved inquiries/issues. Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and managing organization policies on collection practices. Requirements:
High school Diploma/GED is
required 2+ years of Medicare experience; i.e. MUST have worked with Medicare within the last 2 years1+ year of hospital collections
experience; i.e. someone who has worked within a hospital collections environmentAdvanced proficiency with
MS Excel; i.e. creating pivot tables, macros development, v-lookups,
h-lookups, etc.
