Based out of downtown Palo Alto, CA we are a technology based company looking to change the world through our work. Targeting the intelligence, defense, law enforcement and financial communities we have tackled many issues such as Foreclosure, Medicare Fraud, Human Trafficking, etc... With our state of the art software we key in on drastically changing the way people analyze information.

Must have skills include:

- Minimum 7 years of total database experience

- Minimum 3 years experience with MySQL

- Expert in SQL

- Experience doing database architecture for new systems

- Significant experience working on a distributed production system

- MySQL Certifications valued, but not required.

What you will be doing:

- Design and build MySQL solutions that are both highly available and highly performing.

- Support the development team in building features that perform at scale, including writing and tuning SQL queries and making recommendations on when something should be performed outside of the database instead of via SQL.

- Troubleshoot database-related application performance issues and recommend solutions.

- Assist in the administration, management, and monitoring of all MySQL database systems.

- Support various internal users in forming optimal queries to fulfill their ad-hoc and reporting data needs.

- Develop scripts and tools to support any or all of the above.

- Protect the safety and integrity of the database platform through backups and securing of MySQL instances.
