Requirements

The District Experience Manager, within the Customer Experience Program, is responsible for coaching, developing, leading, and managing a team of Showroom Experience Representatives. He/she is responsible for the financial performance against target for a assigned district, Showroom Experience Representative performance, and the overall Bose® experience within a portfolio of storefronts. He/she is also responsible for the implementation of processes, initiatives, tools, and identified best practices.


The ideal District Experience Manager has a strong passion for inspiring, motivating, and leading a team of sales professionals. He/she has strong previous experience in; electronics retail store/department leadership, retail sales floor leadership, retail sales excellence, is ambitious, is energetic, and is passionate about achieving aggressive targets. He/she is highly self-motivated, has a strong drive towards leading a successful team, achieving goals, and has a strong entrepreneurial spirit.


Bose Corporation will provide you with the opportunity to invest your time as follows:

60% - Lead a team in this multi-unit role that will result in achieving aggressive sales targets, while creating a work climate that will enable each team member to achieve their fullest professional potential. Execute effective retail sales floor leadership by observing sales behaviors and working inside of Bose Showrooms and on the sales floor. Model all Showroom Experience Representative job responsibilities to reference standard. Side-by-side selling of Bose products inside of assigned Showrooms. Implement and maintain sales competitions that foster and support Bose sell through at retail. Ensure that the performance of all Showroom Experience Representatives and the experience provided in the Customer Experience Program Showrooms are to Bose standard through the use of Bose provided performance coaching tools. Hold Showroom Experience Representatives accountable to financial targets, job expectations, and detailed performance expectations found within coaching tools. Work with each Showroom Experience Representative weekly to review, understand, and enable team members to speak to their storefronts sales data, and work with him/her to create and implement business plans to maintain or improve results. Develop relationships with key reseller Store Leadership and leverage these relationships to increase the sell through to support achieving sales targets.


20% - Manage work schedule for team members in assigned district. Financially responsible for managing personal travel plans and schedule required by the role to include weekends, and important holidays. The planning of side-by-side selling, leading by example, observing, coaching, delivering additional sell through results on days worked with team members is required. Actively participate in meetings, conference calls/individual calls, and training & development programs that support achieving sell through targets. Partner with program leadership towards implementing processes, policies, strategies, and direction.


20% - Analyze prior year sell through results for the district, analyze current year sell through targets for the district, build district business plans, and provide weekly updates to the business leadership on district financial results, progress, developments, and challenges to attain sales targets. Facilitate Showroom Experience Representatives training and development sessions.


Skills

Models Bose Essence & Values at all times. Possesses strong successful experience in; electronics retail sales, electronics retail store/department leadership, direct report performance management, and sell through activities. Ability to analyze sales and experience data, identify areas of opportunity, and recommend strategies to increase results. Willingness to work weekends and important holidays. Strong computer experience, including accessing internet and working with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other popular software packages. The required travel for this role will vary between 50%-80% depending on specific district.


Education

Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of either electronics retail store/department leadership or Americas Wholesale field experience.
