BA, PeopleSoft/Payroll, Sr

Our DFW client is ready to hire a Sr Business Analyst with PeopleSoft/HCM experience for a contract, option to hire position.


Top Required Skills for this Position:

• Programming languages a plus (i.e. SQR, SQL, People Tools, etc.)

• 6+ years of strong technical knowledge of PeopleSoft NA Payroll (version 9.0 or above).

• Experience gathering requirements via workshops and interviews and delivering the requirements documents

• Proficient experience creating use case models

• Experience gathering requirements via workshops and interviews and delivering the requirements documents


Other Requirements:

• Learn the new 9.1/9.2 PeopleSoft functionality in order to design new solutions that will maximize the use of vanilla software in order to reduce project costs and ongoing maintenance costs.


Base Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills needed to facilitate discussions, influence decision making, and manage expectations across all levels of the organization


Technical:

• 6+ years of strong technical knowledge of PeopleSoft NA Payroll (version 9.0 or above).

• Exposure to programming languages a plus (i.e. SQR, SQL, People Tools, etc.).


Describe the Daily job duties for this position:

• Coordinating the work of subject matter experts in order to meet the common goal of delivering company-wide processes.

• Analyze/re-engineer business processes within a PeopleSoft environment in order to simplify business processes, increase data accuracy and adhere to PeopleSoft delivered functionality.

• Ensure accurate and timely integrations between other PeopleSoft modules by working collaboratively with other teams to understand the dependencies between the modules and to design solutions that serve the entire company.

• Perform data analysis in order to extract requirements, identify data inaccuracies, and ensure accurate processing.

• Author functional design documents that will be used to communicate business requirements to the technology development team.

• Review all functional design documents within a functional area and provide PeopleSoft business expertise and guidance where needed.

• Review functional design documents for other functional areas where there are dependencies between modules to ensure cross functional integration.
