ABOUT THE POSITION:
This resource will assist in supporting multiple project
Responsibilities:
Responsible for operational and analytical report design, development, testing and deployment tasks using various enterprise business intelligence (BI) tools, primarily SAP/Business Objects' suite of products.
Works directly with business users to facilitate the identification and prioritization of reporting and analytic efforts.
Responsible for assuming a BI project leadership role, facilitating BI solutions from scope through deployment. Must be able to work within constraints of well established life-cycle methodologies.
Responsible for creating universes and reports using Business Objects' suite of products. Facilitate technical resources in supporting Business Intelligence activities.
Responsible for complete and comprehensive project documentation and business user training, as well as educating application teams and business users of business intelligence best practices and concepts. Responsible for creating and maintaining report bursting and distribution using InfoSol's InfoBurst software
Skills required:
Must have at least 5 years experience across all areas of business intelligence solution creation, deployment and maintenance.
At least 5 years experience using Business Objects' tools, including Universe Designer, WebIntelligence and Infoview. Experience using BO XIR3.x is required.
At least 2 years business intelligence project leadership experience.
Must have thorough understanding of data warehousing, web reporting and dashboarding concepts.
Must have exceptional analytical and communication skills. Must be able to work with managers and business user communities to understand their requirements and propose viable BI solutions.
Must have excellent organization skills and be able to assemble business information into easily understood organizations.
Must possess exceptional understanding of the automotive industry vertical.
Must be self-driven and able to arrive at creative, viable solutions to business challenges which would benefit from business intelligence technologies. This includes being aware of current and future business intelligence technologies.
