Based in San Francisco, CA we are one of the largest cloud based providers of enterprise software. With over 250,000 active users worldwide, we are expanding our client base to well over 2,500 enterprise level clients. Currently we are looking for a unique individual who can sell to C-Level executives the products and values that we entail as an organization. We are looking for someone to work with our most valued customers and ensure life long relationships are secure.

JOB DESCRIPTION

* The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for the full suite of Upland * Software applications and services directly or via partners to a large number of named and non-named accounts within a defined geographical territory. * Responsibilities include selling new business to prospective and existing customers including the activities outlined below:

* Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and territory planning

* Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application(s)

* Drive the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition

* Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale

* Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers


Required Skills:

* 7-10 years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience

* Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C level

* Track record of success in enterprise solution sales for software applications with demonstrable proof of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions

* Demonstrate an understanding of the repeatable selling techniques and skills

* Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles demonstrating ownership of all aspects of territory management

* Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills

* IT literate – ability to competently use tools and systems to support role

* Travel required up to 30%


Desired Skills:

* Consistently strong personal earnings in past Account Executive roles while carrying a minimum $1MM quota

* Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references

* Previous experience selling one or more of the following software solutions; PPM, * IT Financial Management, BI, IT Service Management, Enterprise Content Management, Workflow Automation

* Understanding of Portfolio Management, Project Management, and Work Management

* Previous experience selling SaaS solutions

* Strong computer skills, including salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, * Excel, and other industry leading sales enablement technologies

* Bachelor or University Degree preferred

* Highly Motivated and pro-active individual with a drive to succeed
