Insight Global is looking for a high level HVAC Technician for an HVAC equipment company in San Jose. You should have a strong background with mechanical HVAC controls (commissioning, startups, troubleshooting, etc.) and should have strong interpersonal skills as this is a very heavy client-facing role. You should also have experience with start-ups and commissioning of chillers and have experience with hydronic systems (both chillers and heaters, as well as the wet side of a chiller.) You a EPA/CFC Universal Certificate and a valid driver's license as well. This person will be covering a territory of Alamita, San Jose, Madera, and Sacramento, with heavy emphasis on the Bay area. This person should live in the general bay area to avoid driving long distances to and from sites. A company vehicle and/or mileage reimbursement will be included.
- 8-10 years of experience as an HVAC Tech
- EPA Universal Ceritifcation
- Experience commissioning, starting up, and trouble shooting mechanical equipment and digital controls/ computer interface controls for mechanical HVAC equipment
- Experience troubleshooting multi-stack chillers (ex: Turbo Core, Magnetic Chillers,)
- Experience truobleshooting hydronic systems
- Pump experience (HVAC water pumps)
