About the Opportunity
Job Description:
Mid level developer position is responsible for designing, implementing unit testing and maintaining enterprise web-based applications in windows 2008 server environment using JAVA and client side technologies. The ability to work in a team environment and take initiative is necessary. Candidate will focus on developing in a multi-tiered environment. Candidate should have strong experience in developing Web Applications using Spring, spring MVC or struts web framework, Hibernate, Eclipse, Tomcat or other java application servers and Web services; building international applications using java; object oriented concepts, techniques and patterns; and this position also requires participation in full application life cycle. Knowledge in .NET 4.0 and experience with content management tools like CQ5 is a plus.

- Perform tasks related to full software development life-cycle. This includes planning, analyzing requirement, designing solution, developing code using Java technologies (J2EE, EJB, JSP, Servlets, AJAX, Java Scripts, XML, web services, Spring, Hibernate and Struts Framework) and testing the software.
- Development skills must include knowledge and experience in SQL, PL/SQL, J2EE, EJB, JSP, Servlets, AJAX, Java Scripts, XML, web services, Spring, Hibernate, Struts Framework, CSS and GUI development is required.
- Work according to approved statements of requirements and detailed specification. Create technical design documents, codes and unit tests all deliverables. Work with the Quality Assurance group to support their testing efforts.
- Experience in deploying application on Weblogic 11 and Jrokit 28 framework. Basic unix knowledge is a must as the deployment environment is unix.
- Provide written status reports to management regarding project status, task, and issues/risks.
- Minimum of 2+ yrs of experience in Software development arena.
- Understanding the development of nTier web development.
- Working within a browser deployed business model.
- Unix Shell script in a plus.
