Job Responsibilities:
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for month end close including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Investigates and reconciles accounting and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Prepares profit-and-loss statements
- Compiles and assesses financial information
Job Requirements:
The successful Junior Accountant applicant will possess a BA / BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or the like.
Additional Requirements:
- Approximately 2-5 years of accounting experience is required
- Must have decent Word and Excel skills
- SAP is preferred but will consider candidates with ERP experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
