Nurse Clinical Educator Spclty

Travel is required in an assigned region and throughout the US 30-80%.


The Clinical Nursing Services Specialist is an expert in education of patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and other rare chronic diseases. The specialist will provide education and training to patients and caregivers for patients initiating or transitioning to infused, inhaled or oral therapies requiring expertise in high tech therapies. The specialist will also provide consultative services to physicians and nurses related to the patient's plan of care, clinical services provided by providing education, training, and clinical support related to those specialty products and diseases.


Requires a Registered Nurse with current state license in their home state and the ability to be licensed in other states. Also requires strong clinical experience, home infusion therapy experience with cardiac or patients with rare and/or chronic diseases. Must be experienced in coordinating and providing education programs for patients. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills required along with proven ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel. Must be able to collaborate effectively with internal staff including pharmacy operations, clinicans and sales staff. Must be CPR certified. Travel is required throughout the US for education as well as sales support. Active valid state driver's license, and the ability to drive and fly are required for travel.


Registered Nurse with at least 5 years experience in the home infusion therapy or acute care setting with a focus on the treatment of rare chronic disease states. Demonstrated experience in managing patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension is preferred.


Minimum of an Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing and a valid state nursing license required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
