Position Description:

As the Product Management Coordinator you will assist Attwood Category Directors in developing, coordinating, and executing the development, management, and marketing of Attwood Marine products.
The Product Management Coordinator also:
- Coordinates with Category Directors in executing the launch of new products, ensuring complete and accurate system load and channel readiness.
- Takes a lead role on behalf of the Category Directors and partners with the all other departments to facilitate:
The launch of new products within timing and cost targets.
The execution of existing product modifications (PMR's) and current product request (CPR) activities.
The resolution of product open issues.
Coordination of annual pricing reviews, pricing analysis and product culling.
- Coordinates with Category Directors to document product portfolio timing and launch planning.
- Interacts with Category Directors and Marketing to plan, coordinate and implement marketing programs (catalog, promotions, flyers, photography, demonstrations, training, competitive analysis, research). In addition to creating and providing key search terms, product attributes, and features to further enhance and leverage our customers’ web experience.
- Interacts with customers, vendors, or individuals in other departments to obtain or relay information concerning prices, costs, product availability, general product information, educational uses, and technical information.
- Performing cost analysis to support our New Product Development teams
Qualifications:
What you'll bring to our team
- Bachelor's degree with focus on business, economics or marketing, or work experience equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in project management.
- Marine industry experience a plus.
- Must be customer service oriented, have good interpersonal skills, and be flexible with the ability to coordinate numerous projects in a professional and ethical manner.
- Posess the ability to rationally and independently define problems, exhibit sound judgment, and take initiative to develop alternative solutions is also critical.
