The Programmer is responsible for ensuring all deliverables are high quality, including software coding, analysis, and process documentation. Will ensure compliance with business, technical, and audit requirements. Responsibilities also include end user support on use of applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates computer programs for Operations/Production functions.
Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs.
Performs all programming assignments without close supervision; systems design elements receive closer supervision.
Develops conversion and system implementation plans.
Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong programming skills in multiple languages.
Desire and ability to learn the programming languages used in our applications.
Testing and troubleshooting of applications.
BS in computer science with an emphasis in programming or equivalent experience.
Basic database knowledge.
Must have good communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of people.
Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, creativity, and innovation.
Ability to collaborate and contribute in a team environment
Positive and active support for the company, the customer and co-workers.
