About the Opportunity

Epsilon is searching for a seasoned Relationship Marketing professional who can lead all aspects of a client relationship. The ideal candidate is a talented, proactive individual who shares our commitment to deliver first-class customer service and innovative relationship marketing solutions in a dynamic environment. The Relationship Manager is responsible for day-to-day management and quality of all client deliverables as well as overall client satisfaction with Epsilon’s services. This role demands effective problem solving, creative negotiation skills, and an attitude of adept collaboration across the client’s brand team, agencies, technical teams, business managers, contract consultants, and various program delivery vendors. A successful RM will be able to meet Epsilon’s financial goals while simultaneously shepherding the internal account teams as they jointly deliver high quality services to Epsilon’s clients.


Responsibilities
* Provide strategic direction to the client in support of marketing operations, campaign management and reporting for existing brands and future brands leveraging the centralized database

* Collaborate with client brand teams and their agencies to develop business objectives, understand marketing strategies, and implement streamlined marketing operations solutions across agencies and operational vendors

* Manage Epsilon’s brand support team (Account Managers, BSAs, analytic/strategic consultants) in day-to-day operations, including campaign management, reporting, analytic deliverables, and database production

* Work closely with Technical Lead to communicate client requirements, set priorities, and manage the performance of internal database delivery resources

* Contribute to brand strategic planning process through the ability to generate consumer and marketing insights

* Function as a client advocate to anticipate and resolve issues

* Develop and enhance long-term client relationships at senior levels

* Responsible for exceeding business objectives, account profitability and customer service satisfaction objectives

* Forecast revenue, invoicing and financial management accountability

* Liaison with Epsilon team to identify client business needs, formulate solutions to address those needs, and sell-in recommendations for additional work

* Exhibit continual client focus: thoroughly understand needs, requirements, and priorities; manage expectations internally and with client; find ways to deliver business value

* Deliver persuasive, concise, clear verbal and written communications to client’s leadership and brand teams


Qualifications
* CRM, relationship marketing, and direct marketing with a specific focus on brand marketing operations (Retail client experience is a plus).

* In-depth knowledge of Direct/Database Marketing including campaign design, planning, execution, reporting and analysis

* Knowledge of database marketing technology infrastructure that supports brand marketing program activity.

* Strong project management skills with a proven track record for executing complex projects

* Measurable experience in managing and growing profitable satisfied accounts

* Management of personnel particularly in a matrixed organization

* Expertise in developing and conducting strategic and tactical presentations with clients and leading client meetings

* Assemble and lead high-performance delivery teams in account, strategy, technology and analytics in a matrixed organization.

* 7+ years of directly relevant experience within a Database/Direct Marketing environment.

* Bachelors Degree required, Advanced Degree preferred
