Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of the General Manager to manage daily operations of a casual-dining restaurant

Schedule and appoint tasks and responsibilities to staff as directed by the GM

Ensure policies are upheld

Inventory, ordering and upholding store cleanliness

Guest interaction and maintain restaurant appearance

Bar Management

Other typical responsibilities to ensure ease of operations

General Manager Responsibilities:

Overall operations of the casual dining unit

Hire, train, and supervise management team and hourly workers

Oversee management of the bar and kitchen

Build sales, and stay within budgets

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

Maintain labor budget and cost control

Inventory and ordering

Work closely with staff to ensure guests have a pleasurable dining experience

Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards are met

Build positive relationships with employees and vendors

Job Requirements

Assistant Manager / General Manager / Assistant Manager Qualifications:

Great job tenure - 2 jobs in 5 years / 3 jobs in 9 years

Career progression including accomplishments

Passion for food - scratch food concept a plus

2 years+ salaried Restaurant Management experience in casual dining

Full P&L responsibility and ability to drive revenue

Demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth while continuously improving customer satisfaction

Strong leadership skills with proven ability to build relationship with customers, vendors, and associates
