Requirements

The Sell Through Representative position will perform a variety of in-store activities that drives sell through of Bose® products within a designated territory of storefronts. Conduct individual and small group training for retail sales personnel, build relationships and create Bose advocacy within all assigned stores. Conduct customer demonstrations during selling events on select weekends throughout the year. Ensure that the presentation and maintenance of our products and displays are to Bose standards with all products and displays being fully functional, demonstrable, and clean, enabling a consistent, powerful, and dignified Bose experience to occur.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Conduct training utilizing process and tools provided by our Field Training Team, with focus on product/brand knowledge, demonstration skills, selling engagement process and use of our automated fixtures and other go-to-market initiatives.

a.During every store visit perform 1:1 trainings for retail salespeople in all departments.

b.Perform in-store frequent small group trainings for assigned stores

i.Morning/evening trainings before/after regular store hours

ii.On-floor group trainings

c.Support District Manager facilitate larger cluster trainings


2.Build and leverage in-store relationships with store/department leadership and retail salespeople in all departments.

a.Leverage local innovation to increase exposure and drive sell through of Bose products

b.Participate in reseller leadership meetings to drive specific initiatives

c.Uncover relationship & training opportunities within the territory


3.Create strong advocacy among store staff towards our company, our products, and yourself enabling Bose to be the go to brand when product recommendations are made.

a.Leverage advocacy metrics to identify opportunities for focused training or relationship building


4.Perform sell through activities in assigned storefronts to support the retail environment

a.Develop a schedule that allows for visits to a reseller during strategic times of the day and the week.

b.Work a minimum of 10 weekends per year during key periods, conducting selling event activity to drive sell through

i.In-store group trainings

ii.On-floor customer demonstration and selling in high volume storefronts

c.Utilize milk-run strategy to visit all assigned store locations within a 4 week rotation.


5.Deliver and communicate key promotional and product launch materials in all assigned storefronts.


6.Work with District Manager to evaluate specific sell through metrics within each storefront and develop specific product focus, training strategy and/or on-floor merchandising opportunities.


7.Keep all supplies and materials for the vehicle and service bag fully stocked and organized to maximize efficiency.


8.Test all Bose products and displays for functionality. Repair or replace any non-functional/missing products or display parts. Perform wire management to hide all wires from view and safeguard the display area. Secure Bose product to display to deter theft or loss.


9.Clean all products and displays to ensure a powerful and dignified presentation of the Bose brand.


10.Perform project initiatives during specified periods. Project initiatives include, but are not limited to, setting new displays, updating existing displays with new graphics or parts, replacing existing product on display with new models.


11.Utilize hand held device to capture in SARA all store calls performed, fixture functionality, service requests, answers to questions that are asked, and retail salespeople trained.


12.Actively participate in all Bose meetings, conference calls/individual calls, and training & development programs as requested by management. Provide feedback on products, displays, processes, promotions, and opportunities for improvement.


Skills

Minimum of 3 years of retail sales experience with strong emphasis in the areas of conducting training presentations, product demonstrations, retail concepts, display builds,

and merchandising. Strong business awareness, organizational skills and attention to

detail required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Experience with accessing the internet and working with Microsoft® Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.


Education

Bachelors Degree is preferred or a minimum of 2 years college with an emphasis in

Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
