Position Description:The
Senior Application Support Analyst provides high level remote
application support and assistance to customers and OptumInsight
personnel in the installation/utilization of the software, hardware and
business applications, and/or in diagnosing problems within the products
in a timely and accurate manner to assure customer satisfaction. The
Senior Application Support Specialist reports to the Application Support
Manager.Positions in this function are responsible for direct
customer service of non-insurance related products (i.e. Ingenix
products). May provide technical expertise, problem triage, instructions
or general non-sales customer support.

Qualifications:
Requirements:Bachelor's degree is required2+ years of previous experience working with RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol); i.e. this person will need understated how to remotely log into other computers1+ year of experience leading projects in a professional and/or educational environmentIntermediate to advanced level of proficiency with MS Word and Excel (Word â creating and editing Word documents; Excel â data manipulation, sorting and filtering, etc.)1+ year of previous experience in a healthcare industry environment; i.e. someone who has worked within a healthcare setting1+ year of experience working with a SaaS (Software as a Service) product; i.e. online product for online product, internet based software, etc.1+ year of SQL Experience; i.e. this person will be working with SQL in conjunction with the CRM system on the back endKnowledge of ICD-9; i.e. this person will be coding various products within this role1+ year of experience training customers/employees remotely; i.e. someone who is able to train employees off site2+ years of previous experience in a technical support role; i.e. this person will be assisting with the technical product, someone with actual technical acumen, etc.Assets:Proficient in Pearl, Visual Basic, and Java, C++Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Outlook is preferredOptumInsight is part of the family of companies that make UnitedHealth Group one of the leaders across most major segments of the US health care system.OptumInsight is one of the largest and fastest growing health information companies.
