About the Opportunity
Sr. BSA is responsible for requirements gathering, elicitation and capture; translating business rules and requirements to technical team and writing functional specifications; testing/sign-off, and post-implementation support. In this role as Web SBSA, in executing the general BSA responsbilities, the individual's primary focus will be on the user interface and web application aspects of the overall solution. This includes ownership of all requirements and tasks associated with the delivery and presentation of content for the solution. The individual will work and collaborate with client in creating and updating wireframe diagrams, and translate these diagrams into functional specifications from which the developers can build th UI. Further, this individual must currently have or be able to quickly gain proficiency in content management solutions that dynamically deliver content to the browser.
Other requirements of the SBSA, Web include:
- Collecting and maintaining project documentation and ensuring that it complies with standards
- Working directly with technical development staff to convey understanding of business requirements and to execute the test cases
- Client interaction to answer process and functional questions as it web, UI, and dynamic content.
- Solution support, problem resolution, issue tracking, and change management
- Support unit testing and UAT of SOA-based business processes
- QA/QC responsibilities include statistics gathering, comparative analysis, and trending
- Operating within prescribed Project Managem
Background/Skills Required:
- 5+ yrs in BSA role with client interaction experience with focus on web/UI
- Proficient knowledge of SQL and Oracle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint, Visio) and text editor programs
- Understanding of and/or experience with dynamic web content engines; proficiency in such tools a plus
- Expert in development and translation of wireframe diagrams and UI design
- Previous loyalty experience and/or Financial Services a plus. Background in (or strong understanding of) Marketing concepts, Direct Mail, or CRM a plus.
- Experience working within structured software life cycle & development methodologies, (Agile, RUP, RM-ODP, RAD, etc.), as well as rapid prototyping a plus
- Enjoys working in a fast paced work environment that is frequently changing
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and service delivery a must
- Position requires someone who is motivated, a quick learner, and is willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
