Estimator - Civil Construction
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
- 7+ years experience bidding civil and site development projects
- CAD and Agtek or industry relevant software experience
- Project experience must include projects built under Design/Build and Bid/Build processes
- Comprehensive understanding of cost based risk analysis
- Excellent communication skills to include verbal, written, telephone, email and presentations
- Master organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for multiple civil projects concurrently
- Review bid documents for value engineering and cost savings
- Develop specific subcontractor bid scopes
- Maintain client relationships on both current and future projects
- Qualify all subcontractor quotes, scope, exclusions, and accuracy as defined in bid documents
- Complete manaual, and computer aided quantity/unit take offs
