Responsibilities
If you are a natural leader with great data modeling experience and solid PL/SQL programming experience, we are looking for you! Networkfleet needs a dynamic individual to take over the data model of large Oracle 11g database and manage a small team of database developers. This encompasses internal and external facing products – the primary responsibility of this team is to provide high-performance procedures that deal with 50 million transactions a day and growing rapidly. This individual needs to have demonstrated experience and ability in high-performance databases.
- 10+ years of Oracle development and design experience
- 4+ years of team lead or management experience
- Solid PL/SQL experience with strong slant toward efficient, high-performing code
- Experience in a high-transaction environment
- Experience in modeling and supporting very large partitioned tables
- Demonstrated understanding of logical modeling and relational design
- Oracle SQL tuning experience and strong understanding of tuning tools
- Understanding of Triggers, Packages, Functions, Procedures and complex SQL
- Experience in a Unix environment
- Excellent problem solving, issue identification, analytical and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm and energy
- Experience in hiring
- Advanced Queue knowledge
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Unix shell scripting experience
- Experience in code management
