Director, Field Marketing (East)

Job Summary:

The Director of Field Marketing will have overall responsibility for the successful implementation and execution of all marketing programs across a geographically assigned area (East Coast states). Reporting into the Vice President of Field Marketing, this position will have direct supervisory responsibility for local digital engagement, direct response fundraising, local advertising and local marketing programs.


The Director will be the primary Marketing interface with the Regions and Chapters and will be the single source of marketing support for the assigned geography. As the subject matter expert for all Marketing initiatives, this position will be the focal point for all marketing program execution and will be a critical communications conduit to and from the Chapters. Final candidate must reside within the Division (along the east coast from Maine down to South Carolina). New York City area or Boston, MA area preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Marketing Intelligence: Provide insight on emerging trends across local, state and regional market demographics. Apply gathered market intelligence into local marketing program execution.

• Marketing Campaign Execution: Development and execution of ARC-wide campaigns (e.g. Red Cross Month, Holiday Campaign, Disaster Preparedness, Holiday Mail for Heroes, etc.) as well as locally developed programs.

• Digital Engagement Execution: Oversee the management of local content for all regions within Divisions. Manage local Google grants and paid search programs. Monitor web performance for traffic and conversions and recommend appropriate action. Coordinate text and mobile programs within the Division as well as coordinating with social media for engagement opportunities.

• Brand and Creative Marketing Execution: Key point of contact for brand and creative needs. Must foster effective two-day communication between the field chapters and NHQ. Manage chapter brand inquiries. Provide design guidance and oversee necessary field training programs.

• Direct Response Fundraising and Disaster Fundraising: Leadership responsibility for Divisional fundraising activities (e.g. e-grams, d-grams, telethons, etc.). Responsible for the communication, implementation, execution and performance of all programs within the assigned divisions.

• Organizational Coordination: Point of contact within the assigned divisions for conditions with Communications, Disaster Services, Preparedness Health & Safety Services, Biomed Marketing and NHQ Marketing.

• People Management: Leadership and management of the Field Marketing Unit team, 4 Field Marketing Associates will report to this position.
