This engineering position is responsible for improving production processes and maintaining the physical plant. The incumbent plans and executes medium sized projects and is responsible for project performance to expectations. The incumbent also supports larger size projects in conjunction with the Corporate Engineering Group through the launch phase in order to meet customer specifications.
Other duties include: identify and eliminate problems before and as they occur using the corporate values of Lean, Six Sigma, Fairness, Customer Concern and Rapid Response and develop product and plant production process improvements as well as plant maintenance using a Predictive and Preventative Maintenance Program. Must be a team player who has a strong work ethic, works well under pressure, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and understands the importance of effective time management and meeting deadlines.
The incumbent must have working knowledge of OEM manufacturing and/or Aftermarket operations and be proficient in the use of CAD design software, Allen Bradley PLC programming, effective preparation and written communications including MS Word and Excel as well as working knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing maintenance.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required. Some manufacturing experience would be ideal, but not required.
